Old Faithful
Old Faithful (B. Brincka, O. Petryszyn 91) Cross between Plantaginea and Regal Rhubarb. Offers the best of both: fragrant flowers, a great upright form and dark purple petioles. Large 12 inch long corrugated leaves, dark purple petioles - spectacular 3' wide clump. Topped in midsummer with a 40 inch scape of very large fragrant, near-white flowers. A true collector's hosta! A classic.
